These terms govern your use of Rattu ("the app" and this website), operated by Activate Travel ("we", "us"), based in Maharashtra, India. By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to these terms.

What Rattu is

Rattu turns photos of school notebook pages into revision quizzes for your child. Quizzes are generated by AI from the pages you scan and are always shown to you for review and editing before they are saved. Rattu is a study aid — it does not replace school, teachers, or textbooks, and we do not guarantee academic outcomes.

Accounts

• Accounts are for parents/guardians aged 18 or over. Children use the app only through child profiles inside a parent's account.
• You are responsible for keeping your device and sign-in (phone OTP) secure.
• You must provide accurate information and use the app only for personal, non-commercial family use.

Plans, billing and renewal

• Free plan: limited scans per calendar month, 1 child profile.
• Rattu Solo: ₹99/month or ₹950/year — 1 child, 60 scans/month.
• Rattu Family: ₹179/month or ₹1,718/year — up to 3 children, 150 scans/month.
• Paid plans are auto-renewing subscriptions billed via Razorpay (UPI Autopay, cards, or net-banking mandates) in INR, inclusive of applicable taxes. Your plan renews at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
• Prices may change; we will notify you in the app before any change affects your next renewal.

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel anytime from the app's upgrade screen. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for full details — in short: cancellation stops future charges and you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.

Fair use

• Scan only pages you have the right to use (your child's own notebooks and study material) — do not upload content that infringes others' rights.
• Do not attempt to abuse scan limits, reverse-engineer the app, or use it to build a competing dataset or service.
• We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or abuse the service.

Content and intellectual property

You retain rights to the pages you scan. Generated questions belong to your account for your family's use. The Rattu app, brand, mascot, and software remain our property.

Service availability

We aim to keep Rattu available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scanning requires an internet connection; quizzes already synced can be played offline. We may update or modify features as the product evolves.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts in Maharashtra having jurisdiction.
